A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser. It can keep you signed in, remember a preference, or help measure whether a page works.
We also use two browser storage keys for the same purposes. They are listed here because the distinction matters less to you than the total number does.

These are required for the product to function. They cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in and form security.
evident_session — keeps you signed in. Expires after 8 hours of inactivity.
evident_csrf — protects forms against cross-site request forgery. Expires with the session.
evident_region — remembers your hosting region so requests route correctly. Expires after 30 days.
evident_consent — stores your cookie choice. Expires after 12 months.

We use one privacy-friendly analytics service. It sets no advertising identifier, does not follow you across sites and truncates the last octet of your IP address before storage.
Analytics load only after you accept them. If you decline, the script is never requested — we do not load it in a dormant state and claim that counts as off.
Aggregated page views, referrer and country.
No cross-site profiles, no fingerprinting, no data sold or shared with ad networks.

There are no advertising cookies, social pixels, retargeting tags, session recorders or heatmaps on this site.
We do not use dark patterns in the consent banner: accept and reject are the same size, in the same place, and rejecting takes one click.

You can change your choice at any time from the cookie preferences link in the footer. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings.
Blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in. Blocking analytics has no effect on the product.
